Tour A – four overnight stays

Sisi’s Road – traces of Empress Elisabeth from Munich to Bad Ischl

Elisabeth, later empress of Austria and queen of Hungary, was born December 24, 1837, in the Herzog-Max-Palais in Munich as the second daughter of Duke Maximilian Joseph in Bavaria and Princess Ludovika of Bavaria. After her marriage to Emperor Franz Joseph on April 24, 1854, she moved to Vienna. Follow her life’s journey on Sisi’s Road from Bavaria to Austria.

Tour B – three overnight stays

Sisi’s Road – traces of Empress Elisabeth in Vienna

From Bad Ischl the drive by way of Linz, the Wachau and St. Pölten of approximately 310 km leads to Vienna. The city of Vienna was the pompous center of Empress Elisabeth’s life. Here there are numerous sites you will not want to miss when visiting Vienna.

1 x traditional Old Vienna style dinner (consommé with frittata, escalope Viennese style, prime boiled beef, sugared pancake with raisins and many further typical traditional food)

Sisi’s Road – traces of Empress Elisabeth in Budapest

From Bad Ischl the drive by way of the Wachau, Vienna and past Bratislava of approximately 520 km leads to Budapest.

3 x overnight stay in Budapest, double room in the booked hotel category with breakfast buffet
1 x traditional Hungarian evening in a restaurant including three-course meal with wine and Hungarian music, in Budapest
1 x admission and guided tour of Gödöllö Palace

Tour D – three overnight stays

Sisi’s Road – traces of Empress Elisabeth in Meran

From Upper Austria via the Jaufen Pass (the road Empress Elisabeth traveled to Meran) or the Brenner Pass on to the Italian section of Sisi’s Road, it is approximately 350 km to Meran.

From Bad Ischl the journey continues by way of either Munich or Innsbruck, on to Zurich and Bern to Geneva – approximately 800 km.

1 x five-course meal in Vertig'O in Geneva (one star Michelin restaurant, 17/20 Gault and Millau)
